June 2010 – What We’re Reading, Watching, etc.

In addition to Stross’ Halting State, I came across an interesting novel by Nocola Rhodes called, Tamer Black, Djinnx’d, which can be found on Smashwords for free by following the link.  I believe this was the first work by Rhodes, and while the beginning may have been a little rough, she certainly found her writing voice by the time the story finished.  I look forward to reading the follow-ups in the series to see how her writing matures.
