In addition to Sawyer’s Hominids, I read Edgar Rice Burrough’s A Princess of Mars this month. I will admit that this was a little tough to fully appreciate after having read and loved Kim Stanley Robinson’s Mars Trilogy, and even though it did seem to drag at times, I enjoyed it. I also finished Bram Stoker’s Dracula this month. Seeing as I’ve failed to get on the vampire bandwagon, I decided to go to the source so to speak – I couldn’t have enjoyed it more, and I feel no need to further my vampire reading.
