January 2011 – Harmony of the Othar Saga Update

It is easy to lose sight of the accomplishments last year as I try to wrap up the final chapters of Tongue of Hauden, so now is a good time to step back and reflect.  Finishing and publishing book two, Animus of Hauden, as well as completing a large portion of book three is something that I am proud of, despite the slowing of new material over the last few months as my full time job monopolized more and more of my time.  It’s a tough balancing act, but, of course, being employed and paying the bills is in itself an accomplishment during these uncertain economic times.  Sticking to my goal of writing every day, even if it is only an hour or two, I hope to see steady progress, even if it is not as fast as I would like.

Book three is nearly complete, I promise, and barring any unforeseen circumstances, it will be released late spring or early summer this year.  I am eager to begin book four, Blood of Hauden, although I am not inclined to make a prediction yet on how far I will get this year.  It would be nice to get a large portion of it written this year, and that is certainly my goal.  I expect it to take shape in bursts, much like the previous three books, so it is difficult to say where I will be by year end.
